Khao Yai - Bangkok June 2016 part 1

Super old post here, but it's ok, I just wanna record down some memories.

I always have this spontaneous urge to travel to somewhere. Due to the budget restriction, I have not much choice. During that time, there are lots of people talk about this place, Khao Yai on Facebook. So, Hannah and I decided to give it a visit. Then, we think since we will be landing in Bangkok, why not we stay there for few days, too. So, there comes the Khao Yai-Bkk trip.

Lemme have a brief intro about Khao Yai according to my first expression.
I feel like it's a lot like Hua Hin, because most of the tourist spots are artificial buildings that built imitating the European's style.
Honestly, this doesn't catch my attention anymore.
My main purpose to visit Khao Yai was hoping to see the golden field of sunflowers. But, we were totally let down by knowing June wasn't the season.

Anyhow, I still impressed by the hotels/ resorts over there. Even though, I don't like visiting tourist spots at there but for the accommodation part was a great experienced.
Before booking the hotels, we both find it really hard to decide which hotel to stay because there are a lots of hotels which are having nice architectur and the prices are reasonable!!

First day, after landed at the airport, we met our rented car with drivers. There is a must to rented car best with driver in Khao Yai because you don't really see public transport at there and the roads are dark during night.

Both the drivers are men. Maybe because of the security awareness, Hannah and I were actually kinda worried both of them are some bad guys but luckily the whole trip to and fro Khao Yai was safe and sound.

For the first night, we were staying at this place called Casa Montana.
At first, when I entered the camper van, I actually felt it was a bit shabby and old.
( and narrow, of course! )
Don't have quite a good impression on it, but maybe because we reached there late and tired
and it was raining.
But during the next morning, the view was looking great from the windows.
Anyhow, it was still a great experience as I have been wanted to try
staying a in camper van long time ago.

Cute watermelon grown on the land. I was kind of surprised when I saw it hid under the bench.

Not forget to compliment on their free breakfast set.
The best ever free breakfast that we had tried during the whole trip.
Look at the generous amount of jam that the owner had given us, a whole small bottle!
And how considerate that he served us milk, juice and plain water!
Left: We were choosing to have breakfast at outdoor to enjoy the greenery but then it rained. Sigh!
Right: Then we moved inside and we had flat lay!
(So yea, you see God closed one door but he opened another)
Best ever breakfast still, as we enjoyed one meal at both indoor and outdoor.

Then, we checked out and visited to 'Palio'.
The real Palio is in Siena, Italy.
So, here is just a place for people to take plenty of photos and some souvenirs shops for tourists to do some shopping.

Next destination, The Blooms. It is kinda like Cameron Highlands where they planted a lot of flowers.

We had our lunch here.
Ordered quite a lot of food, the glass noodles kinda impressed us with its spiciness
as if the chilies padi are free.
Literally every bite of the noodles caused our lips burnt.
