Kingdom of Cambodia 30。05.13

There was 9 of us visited Cambodia, the land of temple from 30th of May - 2nd of June. Basically, expenses for this trip not more than RM1k.

We chose to touch down at Pnom Penh (PP) airport then took van to Seam Reap (SR) because the flight ticket is much more cheaper.
It took 6 hours to reach Seam Reap, so I still think is advisable to take flight to SR if you are not on budget travelling.
Seriously, butt pain!

Along the road to SR, there were wide land of paddy field.
However, I am actually doubting that did they get great harvest? The land looked so dry!

Most of the houses there were built high with long wood sticks because flood always happened.
And the roads are narrow. Is like the houses actually built at both side of the road, there are bridges to connect to the road. Kinda like houses at the cliff side.
Well, I don't really know how to explain. Maybe the government don't have enough  money for embankment.

Cambodian have this serious wealth gaps, those people who afford to buy car is really someone who is so rich because the cars sold at high price and the fuel is expensive. So, normal worker like me will never afford to buy a car.

So, we arrived PP airport in the morning and met our driver for another 6 hrs journey to SR.

Mr. Chan who is looking for Tan Sri!!!
Jokes that only Malaysian will knows!

We were stopped by this place that sells fried insects.

 Fried spiders.
I think they fried them with soy sauce?!

Poor little froggy!

Ah, they caught crickets by the big plastic bag tights on the fluorescent light at night.

Yes, don't doubt. It did crawling on my hand!

And S is the first one who tried the fried spider.
I ate! Imagine you're eating soft shell crab.

Then, there were a few kids surrounded you and kept praising you just to hope you buy something from them.
Ah, little kids are good in doing business.

(SR)
We checked in to this hotel.

Just a really random shooting because I like the flowers!
It was a four stars hotel and I don't get why two persons can stayed for a room with two single beds while three persons forced to stayed in a room with two king size beds and one single bed.
( is like 3 persons provided you 5 bed spaces, I don't really like when there is too much spaces left in a bedroom kinda creepy I thought)
Anyway, their staffs still very polite and nice la.
They explained everything to you when they showed you your room.

The driver brought us to a restaurant for buffet as dinner for the night.

Traditional dance performance.

10usd for a buffet, not expensive but not worthy, too.
The food doesn't tasted nice.
I expected that because when the driver suggested you a restaurant for any meal, they actually got commission from them and the food usually not really nice.
Already experienced that during my previous Bali trip.

After that, we walked around the night market.

So, the night market is fulled with stalls that sell clothes and souvenirs.
There are plenty of foot massage stalls.
Only cost 1usd / I think is either 15mins or 30mins.
And everyone knows pub street where beer cheaper than mineral water.
Night life grows here!
