Kingdom of Cambodia 31。05。13 (Angkor Wat)

Don't really wanted to visit Cambodia but there is this main reason for me to give it a visit where there is the Angkor Wat that as one of the jewel on UNESCO's world heritage list.
It also known as the largest and iconic Hindu temple complex in the world.
The interior of temples are filled with religious carvings, wall murals and countless sculptural decorations.

To visit the temples and other sites within the Angkor Archaeological Park, we purchased a Angkor pass at the main entrance located on the road to Angkor Wat.
20usd for a one-day pass, 40usd for a three-day pass and 60usd  for a seven-day pass.

Now, let's enter to the ancient world of Khmer Empire.

 Such magnificent building!

So, the ancestors used to walk on this slanting stairway.

By the way, we walked too!
Not so hard afterall.
But of course this one is modified. hahaha.

Do you see the rainbow ring surrounded the sun.

They called it halo phenomenon.

Look at the roots!
I feel like there are magical tricks hidden.

Our tour guide did gave us a little explanation about the buildings but um... I just don't remember what he said.

The real stunner according to scriptures, the Angkor Wat was built in 40 years. However, using modern calculations, engineers estimate that it would take 300 years to build such a phenomenal structure in today.
So, those engineers in old days were way too much intelligence even without the technology!

Valen a.k.a Ms.T's birthday party

I think the birthday party was held 3 weeks ago. A little earlier so that everyone could attend it.

A birthday party at house sounds so traditional I was like backed to the childhood times. Still so fun!
Basically was a barbecue party.
Photo bombed before the barbecue started.
So, let the pictures speak!

Colourful balloons can make girls gone crazy!!

So, here's ya birthday girl.

Yummy yam cake!

The night ended with group chit-chatting...
Boys' talking and girls' talking.
Was a great gathering.

I had known this group of friends since primary/ secondary for more than 10 years.
Everyone is busy with their careers, social life and stuffs.
Even though we rarely have chance to meet together, but friends mean friends.
That night was just way too awesome.
Had a really great talk, reminded me some funny stupidity things that we have done during our schooling times.
All thanks to Val for holding the party.

Cosmobox April collector's Edition by VenusBuzz

I know I have a lot of pending posts saving in draft.
But I just started to become lazy in blogging and postcrossing. Ah......

Well, this morning I received a really surprised email that triggered me to post this blog post that I've promised to blog about it as soon as I received the parcel.
The Box Culture's team going to send me another beauty product!!!
But thing is I'm not sure whether did I joined any contest or is it something extra that they've missed out sending me with the April's box that I won last month or what??

I'm curious so I asked them did they make any mistakes on the winner list or I should have keep quiet? Haha...
I'm waiting for their reply.
What if that's a mistake occurred then my Loreal Mythic Oil could have just fly away.
Anyway, I believe that my guardian angel still willing to sprinkle some lucks to me!! Lucks is still around Yay!!

Now, here comes the superb late post.

Is not a very big box but it contains lots of stuffs. Loves!

1. So, there is this Curator's note to redeeem a free deluxe sample of Benefit's mascara. BUT I didn't redeem it...... so sad that the stores are in KL and I don't have time to visit there.

2. L'oreal Professional Infinium Hairspray by Charlie Le Mindu. I still haven't try it yet because I seldom style my hair.

3. Nail tips from The Nail Shop. Perfect colour tones but it didn't provide nail glue. I have no idea on how to use it. So, I gave it to my friend.

4. Murad Essential-C Cleanser. The citrus smell is strong and refreshing but I still prefer cleanser that has bubble foam.

5. Benetint Rose Tinted Lip and Cheek stain. Something that I wow for the box!
I used it on my lips and is rose red. I like it because is not a very sweet colour. Afterall, I'm not those typical sweet lady. Can brush on your cheeks, too but you just need technique to make it look natural.

6. Sothys Hydra Nourishing Body Lotion. So, I joined the contest basically was because of this lotion and the benetint. Perfect scent! Is definitely great for daily use.

7.  RM50 discount voucher from Senze Studio for hair treatment. But, branches all at KL. So, burned.

8. Fringe holder to hold your fringe away from your face when you do make up or clean your face. Great invention from Japan.

So, once again thank you Cosmo Box and Venus Buzz for giving me a chance to win in the contest.

Whoever who interested in the beauty box, kindly proceed to www.boxculture.com and pay with RM33/ box inclusive of delivery charge.
Let them surprised you at your doorstep!

Road trip

There was this impromptu decision we have made to have a road trip on one of those Sunday.
T suddenly text me and asked me to go KL. I said yes!

My main purposed to went there is actually for orbing ball's ride at Titiwangsa Lake!
Games that I have wanted to try ever since the first introduced in Gemas.
Well, we went on the wrong day disappointed when we were told that they've moved the balls to the Jom Heboh Carnival.

Anyway, we tried pastries at Levain.
I heard lots of good reviews for this place.

That morning was crowded because of the problem of computer system.
So, those staffs counted the prices using calculators/ handwriting and have to jot down every pieces they sold out on the papers
I think was a chaos for them.
So, darn long queue.

Green tea mousse.
Looks nice but I can't get rid of its strong matcha taste.
I even felt liked I'm eating mercury though I don't know how's mercury taste like.

Apparently all food looks too good to be eaten.
Hmmph.... drooling now!

After breakfast, we headed to Royal Selangor pewter factory.
I never thought pewter is such expensive until I saw the prices.
I always thought those pewter products in my house are simply for decoration and they grow dust......

Such elegant yet creepy wine glasses.

Now I feel wanted to learn playing chess.
But I only want to play with this awesome set!
So, whoever got this. You're my friend!! Hahaha...

Then, we moved to this part.
Products coated with gold.
Not for sale peacock, they looked much more shiny in real life!

So, they have this special order, too.

I will follow you~~~

Then, of course shopping spree for girls.
I remember the first thing I bought was toothpaste!
Toothpaste?! LOL.

I guess you know where is this place!

So, the day ended with these mouth-watering dishes.
Ah, drooling now!!
