Xmas night

Finally we found the place, La Casa.
Purposely put extra attention at those houses opposite the golf club on the way to Amici Bistro. ( Original plan )
A restaurant that I never realize after sooo many times passing by because it just like one of those bungalows.

Finally can feel the Christmas vibe at here with the decoration, the Christmas tree, the presents, the foreigners and the lightnings.

Dinner of the night.

Hawaii colzone. (folded pizza)
A 4-6 pax portion.

Chicken cordon bleu

Pasta Tonne (with ovebaked cheese)

The food all in big portion. If you're a small eater, you can't finish the whole plate by youself.

Pressies of the night. Thank you!

 Starry starry night.

 Lovely owls.

 I like bling earrings.
lady-like.

I'm not a fan of Kitty but I can't resist the shiny material.

A selca pic with the new earrings.

Jingle Bells

I like raining when I sleep but seriously not rainning nonstop for the whole day.
Raining all day long from yesterday night till now. (more than 24 hours)
Kuantan most severe flood in 41 years happened.
Almost everywhere are flooded even places that never being flood for past 20 years. I'm lucky that my house still safe and sound.
All Kuantanese are praying for the rain to go away. PLEASE STOP RAINING!!
The weather totally sucks to ruin the Christmas mood. wtf.
You don't feel wanna go out while raining cats and dogs, right?
I can't go out. Well, just blog about something Christmasly.

Merry Christmas
&
Happy New Year

Greetings from Mr. Owl

Oh hey y'all, Merry Christmas eve!! *winks*.
Anyone busy unwrapping your X'mas pressie under the Christmas tree?
I swear if I have my own house one day, I gonna decorate a Christmas tree at the living room and put presents under it.
If can I want a fireplace, too. I always feel so warmth by seeing the logs burning and sitting beside a Christmas tree with the yellow lightnings and of course accompany by someone I love.

Just exactly like this!
 Isn't it so lovey dovey?
But...... I think is not going to happen unless I move to a country which has winter.
I will be satisfy by just a Christmas tree in the living room.

I don't have time to hunt for Christmas gifts.
So, here are some handmade Christmas cards for my babes.
I like making cards. I know sometimes there are imperfections on the cards but I hope people who receive my card will appreciate them

I also sent out some postcards during this merry month.
I know when some of you receive it will probably already comes to year 2013.
But, I still want to wish you guys Merry Christmas.

Just bought some Russian Doll stickers from Daiso.
Can't wait to stick on the postcards to make them look cuter.

I finally bought the gold nail lacquer.
Not forget to paint the nails in GOLD to pair with the season greetings.

(again rain rain please go away)

Bali 30。11。12

We visited three temples for the day.
Tanat Lot in the morning.
If you like shopping, go there!
There are a lot of stalls selling cheap stuffs, just bargain! And you'll get the price you like. The things are almost same as those selling in the souvenier centre but the prices are triple lower.
I'm so sad that I don't have enough time to shop at there.....

The entrance.

After this, we went to Alas Kedotan a.k.a monkey forest.
We didn't took any pictures as a lot of monkeys inside there.
We afraid they will grab our cameras.
I think that is a boring place just monkeys playing around and staring at you.
I rather stayed longer at Tanah Lot shopping street.
If you never see the real monkey then go for it.

Then, went to the Taman Ayun temple, a very beautiful and peace temple.

We can't go inside the main complex of the temple,
we can just see around from the low wall that has been built.

Final temple to visit in Bali, Ulan Danu temple.

Epic paintings we saw along the street.

Oh yeah, sexy lady Bean!

Joke

Earth keeps turning,
people keeps their daily routine,
electricity keeps shocking,
birds still chirping merrily in the garden.

Apparently the doomsday is the biggest rumour for the year.
Somehow, I actually wish it is real because people once said it may cause blackout for three days and if you can survive for these 3 days......
The world will becomes a brand new world and human being will probably become healthier. Evolution, perhaps.
So, is great if can survive and I believe I can survive.

I just came back from Penang island.
A lot to update.
Imma continue with the Bali post first!
Stay tuned.

Bali 29。11。12

B asked whether is there any salon for massage around the hotel at the night before.
The answer is NO if you want it in a walking distance.
That's why I don't recommend to stay there as not much shop nearby.
But there is a really kind hearted staff in the hotel.
He said he can helped us to call the service to our room. We rejected.
Then, the next morning. He knocked the door and said he can fetch us to the nearby sanur area. Deal.
He even help us asked a few salon until we found a suitable one.
Here it is.

 Teratai.
A lot services provided from massage, body scrub to pedi/manicure and so on.

The price is cheap.
Around RM30 for the full body massage / full body scrub.
They also gave us a discount.
First time being naked in front of a stranger.
Awk to the max!

Then, comes the time to fill the stomach.

Left hand side of Teratai.

Right hand side of Teratai.

And we chose......

Costa Rica!
Nice ambience.
I think the surrounding will be nicer when the lightning are switch on during night.

Did you see that?
Mickey miao and Cinderella.
Fairy tales' drinks but taste not so fairy.
Girls always got cheated by the name.

Well known avocado juice.
Finally got chance to try it. Not bad not bad......
Is so creamy, yogurt like drink.
I think the texture is too thick I can't drink it all by alone.

Nice art pieces along the street.
I wish I own them in my house.

Look at the cCoOlLoOuUrRsS.
So rainbowish.

Woody Kitties.

B said we should bought the lion babies.
Cute right?? Yes, say cute!

A small incident happened in Bali
The van that the hotel staff fetch us to the place broke down.
He purposely drove to the salon to tell us. He sweated a lot. Idk why don't he just make a call.
So, we decided to go back by taxi. And we met this bad attitude taxi driver.
He just pissed us off.
The staff told him where we live and the driver seems like he already knew the route with the arrogant face.
Who knows he actually don't know how to get to the hotel.
Wth with him, he was like never bother to listen when the hotel staff wanna told him the route.
Then, we tried to speak Malay with him. (Usually Balinese feel more friendly when you speak Malay )
He only wanted to answer us with English. Omg, acting highclass uh? F**k off, please. We were trying to tell him what buildings we had pass by when we came, he didn't bother to give us any respond.
He brought us to some narrow alley, death end and called his friends a few times, then finally we reached Puri Yuma.
I wonder is he purposely drove us to the wrong way so that the meter board goes higher and he can charged us more.
If you're working in this servicing sector, especially facing all these tourists, you should always be friendly.
And he was from this Blue Bird taxi company. Of course not all drivers like him, he could be one of the minority.
Okay, i just talked too much about the tiny biny impolite guy. Forget it.

Tourist spots again.
We came to Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park.
The statue will be standing 150 meters tall after finish build.

At present time, the parts of the statue have been places temporarily in three different plazas within the park.

The middle space is for the local to hold some big event/ ceremony.
Surrounded with the huge stone walls.

Another temple we went during the day, Uluwatu.
Located at the cliff side. We were not able to climb up there as the tour guide told us we have to save a seat first for the kecek dance performance before all the people entered the place.
Later, you will know why we have to save a seat early.

Temple at the cliff side. Such tiny......
B took this photo for the place we sat.

The reason we gonna saved the seats earlier.
Really not a big space, but fitted a lot a lot of tourists.
Prolly more than 1k.

Some even sat on the floor.

Everyone's attention turned to this during halfway of the performance.

Tell me who don't love the sky.

After the show, we headed to Jimbaran Bay for the dinner.
We all know Jimbaran famous for the seafood platter.
We don't really cared about how much it cost, we just hope to eat something really nice at Bali.

Look nice but taste... um... really not that good.
The food turned out to be a disappointment.
Look spicy but just not spicy enough and the so called garlic butter just don't have any garlic butter taste.
Maybe is my taste bud problem or I used to eat food with stronger flavour.

REMINDER: If you wish to have a romantic dinner at the beachside please comes before the sun set, we came when the sky turned dark and we actually switched the handphone's light so that we could see the food we ate.
I'm afraid that I might get choked with the fish bones.
The candle light was no used at all.
Ain't romantic, not like what I expected.

Is so late now, I'm going to Ipoh in few hours later.
Fyi, if you realize that my previous post 25。11。12 I'm hoping to see Christmas decorations wherever I go.
I didn't really see any nice deco until today.
Hopefully I can see that for my next two weeks trip.
