Langkawi 03 - 05。06。14_02

What do you eat in Langkawi?
Seafood, seafood, alcohol, alcohol, chocolate, chocolate!!!!!

Basically we Malaysians when travelling in local, the food cuisine is always same.
Since Langkawi is famous for seafood, then we went for it.
But beware, the food could be overrated with over priced.
We went to search for dinner in Kuah Town after visited Eagle Square.

Glad that we found this restaurant.
Not a fancy restaurant look kinda shabby,
but the food is good and the price is reasonable compare to other famous restaurants.
We ordered 5 dishes in total (4 seafood and 1 vegetable).
If I am not mistaken, the total amount was not more than RM100.

Buy alcohols in Langkawi!!
Is way cheaper in the island, cheapest place to get alcohols in Malaysia I guess.
What a waste that I'm allergy to alcohol, sigh!!!
You can see a lot of duty free shops in the island,
I went both Haji Ismail Group and Teoh Soon Huat for chocolates.
I personally think TSH is better, the arrangement of chocolates is more systematic and the environment is cleaner.
And they have more choices on alcohol filled chocolates.

#PrayForMH17

Deepest condolence to families of everyone who on board of MH17.

Sad to say twice in a year and happened in the same airline, is really a tragic news for Malaysians. Heartfelt by seeing this happened.

God bless everyone, forgive our sins.

Langkawi 03 - 05。06。14_01

This semester break is kinda fulfilling.
Completed my room painting job mission and marathon kind of travelling.
Was tiring and crazy yet fun!!

Didn't really thought of visiting Langkawi but this time I don't feel like disappointing my friend again. So, here we go, the Langkawi island!

We booked this Tubotel room for our 3D2N stay.
It is an unique budget resort build from drain pipes.

The location is not very strategic as I thought I can walk to the beach from the hostel and outside surrounding looked like a construction site but once you step in it is wonderful.

You can either choose tube room facing the sea or not is all depending on the price you've paid. Perfect budget accommodation for backpacker from foreign country but not so budget for Malaysian.

You may struggle with the space for big luggage as the space in the tube is truely limited and wifi can't detected in the room even mobile data line is not strong.
But, well I guess this is a good thing.
You go there for relaxing, away from the hustle bustle of city life and social networking.

Sleeping with ocean wave sound and waking up by sunrise and seaview.
That's definitely awesome and worth the pay!
There is something special about this place: The Eco Pirate day out!
A free boat ride to the local island from the hostel and trash pick up as the return.
Cool right?! But I got not enough time for that activity......
Anyone who is going to stay there longer should have a try!

Yea... everything is same as shown in the video.

Their breakfast sets are good!
But well depending on people though, my friends doesn't like much.

And one reminder:
Beware of the transparent sliding doors in lobby on 11p.m. onwards. They closed it so you can't pass through it to reach the toilets.
Yet, I got the most embarrassed moment by banging myself into it. Everyone in lobby was laughing at me and even again when I backed to my tube room! Gosh! Joke of the day for them I guess.
