D.I.Y Photoframe

Don't doubt when you see this.
It isn't bought from any where but truely handmade and it's one and only appeared in the world.

So, yea.. besides the wooden frame everything is done by me.

First step, coloured the frame.
Mix white, green and blue to get the elegant Tiffany Blue.
Isn't it far more better than those girlish pink?

Blow dried by hair dryer and it's done.
*not very obvious of tiffany blue due to camera quality*
Here comes the complicated parts.
I kinda spent three months (one or twice a week) went for clay art classes to complete it.
You really need to have good patience for squeezing and shaping the lump of clay into shape. That was already my limit for one project and I can't afford to continue another large one.

Some tools and materials.
( clays, scissor, needle, glue, lotion)
Details of the side frame.

Both the bride and bridegroom dolls took me the longest time to mould them.
I swear no more doing human-liked creature.
Both the dolls tested my patience.

You moulded the body, then comes the gown, the suits, the hairstyle and even the shoes that you barely can see them.
Here comes the end result.
And now I know why handmade stuffs are always expensive.

 Hola! Art sharing time again!

Have been created this page in Facebook: Art de' Corner
I have posted some artworks that I have made for friends and also some selling products.

Perhaps, a like button, too, if you like my works.
Thanks peeps!

Last two months I was kind of addicted in quilling art.
Fyi, quilling art is actually art of rolling paper.
So, here's some of my works.

My first try on quilling art was this!
I started from this higher level, am quite a person who likes challenging I guess.
Couple birds for one of my best friend who got married.

Random artworks

Time to share my artworks!

Batik painting during November.
Freehand drawn by Mr. Zulkifri, a very talented art guy!
Colleague asked me to paint it and she wanted to frame and hang up in her house.

She likes purple, so supposed to end up like painting No.2,
but I think the contrast is not strong enough.
So, I changed it to black like painting No.3.

December, a holly jolly month, time to give out some gifts!
Is actually a promise that I have been dragging for almost a year.....
Oopss....sorry guys!

Hair Chalks & OOTD

Hair chalks

I have been wanted to try out the hair chalks ever since I saw this product last year I think?!

And I couldn't be more happy when I knew my colleague friend owns a box of it and she lemme try them on my hair!
Ah, feels so good when you met people that share the same interest with you.
She loves blogging, too. Checkout her blog!

So, as soon as the weekend came I'm so excited to put the colours on my hair and meet my long time no see lil S and also baby B!

I washed my hair and waited them until partially dried.
Hold a pinch of hair, twisted them, sprayed with water then brushed up whatever colours you like!
See, just that easy.
However, the hair chalks made your hair real dry.
But, don't fret. Use some conditioner after you wash your hair with shampoo.
It'll be fine!

Saw the colour strands?
Well, fyi I only tried purple, green and red on my hair because other colours don't look great on dark black hair.
I think the colours will definitely look outstanding on blonde/light color hair.
But, I'm still happy with the outcome!

The colors kind of  faded after few hours but when I use my fingers to touch my hair the colours stained on my fingers.
I guess I should use some tools like curler to lock the colours.

OOTD

Well, I don't really blog about OOTD but I just felt way too cool with my highlighted hair, half-leather legging and galaxy sneaker on the day.

Felt kinda awkward when posing there because people don't really snapped photo inside the mall right?
And they was actually a couple kept looking at us.

Yay! Finally wore it! swag die.
Find out more on my galaxy sneaker!

Idk why I will just find myself awk. if I pose alone in front of the lense.
So, with B here I'm.

Found a magical app recently!
We all get flawless skin with just a click.
Ha, I cheated but I don't care.

Aztec denim

Despite having some acrylic paints left, I decided to modify my old denim short.
Is so old, I think my mom bought for me 10+years ago and of course I can't button up it. So, I probably not going to button up when I wear the short.
My top can cover the ugly part, so ok la.

I never wear it for so many years because I think is old fashion but hey high waist denim short is back now!

So, I cut it shorter and did the fraying.
Then, used the paint brush to draw the aztec pattern on the back pockets.
End up, I actually think that it looks like little kid draws with crayon.
Just feeling weird with the result, so not cool!
But, I just can't tell what's going wrong? The fray not obvious or the line too bold or?

Anyway, this is the one and only design in the world.
You will never find this in the market so I'll still wear it unless people laugh at me.
And I'm going to modify all my old baggy jeans!

Galaxy project

Recently, I'm obsessed with galaxy and aztec patterns.
Galaxy shoes are hard to find especially in place I'm living.
And I actually thinking that if I really found one, it never cost cheap.
So, I decided to do a pair for myself!
Save time and save cost.
I started to search tutorials from the youtube channels.
Youtube always is the most efficient guru!

I thought is easy to find some cheap high top canvas shoes in the store.
But, I tell you what ain't easy actually.
The only nice one I found is Converse but is not cheap at all.   T_T
If I get myself a pair of Converse I won't put the risk for being first time to paint it with galaxy colours.
Not necessary to get a high top canvas, but I just want to make it cool!

So, in the end I found this.

Not those typical canvas shoes.
As long as it is high top that I'm okay with it.
Tell you what, is not my size!
I normally wear size 5/6 and this shoes are size 9.
I found a canvas shoes with the same size but this one is more comfy to wear with it because it has sponge inside kinda like sport shoes.
So, not that loose actually if you tight up the shoes lace high.
But, I don't care anymore.
I just desperate to own a galaxy shoes. Crazy mind.
I never really wear it for a walk, hopefully is comfy to walk with.

Then, I bought these acrylic paints at the book store.

Pearlescent paints are so important to make the galaxy mode on the shoes.
Because the colours look shining on the dark fabric.
And the fluorescent paints only look good and bright on white or light colours fabric.

Next, covered the side of your shoes that you don't want to get painted with masking tape.

Then, choose three main colours to paint on your shoes.
So, usually people used blue, purple and pink to create the galaxy atmosphere.
Use sponge to patch the colours on any part of the shoes as you like.
No specific pattern so is easy!

Some people might patch with a little white paints to create the star dust.
But, I just use the stick to do the white dots on the shoes and if you want meteor, then use sponge to pull out the colour from the dot.
Then, use paint brush to draw stars.
Almost finish heh!

Lastly, I change the black shoes lace to the white one.
The black shoes laces are making the shoes look dull.
I use sponge to paint the rainbow colours on my white shoes laces.
I like them very much, you probably can't see them clearly on the picture but it actually look like shinny rainbow in real life.

Tadaaah!!!
The next morning I put the shoes under the sun so that the paints is completely dry.
Can't wait to put it on!

High top shoes = 20
Acrylic paints = 12
Masking tape = 2
I only paid 34 bucks for a galaxy shoes. Woohoo!

Drawing vs handmade

Blog is getting boring. Nothing interesting to blog about.

This is not a fashion blog so you rarely see outfit post, this is not a travel blog so you seldom see travel post. Is not like I can wear fashionable outfit everyday my job not allow to and is not like I can travel every month also job not allow to.
The main reason should be my wallet not allow me to do so!
See, money is so important.
Okay, I'm started to crap here. Boring, what!

Hmm.... actually that's something happened just you know people don't reveal too much to the public in case I wanted to tell, just might be a few close one will know. Not a good thing, though.

This is human. We tell people great things but hide the ugly one behind.
Is just like why sometimes I edited the photos.

Well. I got some art thingy to share here.

1# drawings

Simply cute and simple drawings c:

Scrolling down the pictures made you feel boring?
Despite those drawings are cartoonish you might think all those pictures are drawn by kindergarten kids, right? Then, you might fail to recognize someone very famous.

Yes, the drawings are all from a famous Japanese artist Yoshitomo Nara san which received great awards and his artworks have been exhibited worldwide.

I reckon this artist from a friend. His art book costs a boom!
His signature drawing is pastel-hued children cartoonish line wide eyes girl with little or no background. (Pop art)

2# feltproject

 Felt cake by me!

Felt fever! Due to the phone size problem, the colleague gave me both of these.
Talented tailor she is.

3# foodart

I consider this as art, too. Haha!
Simply love the colour combination. So sweet and so yummeh!
I'm so stupid that I never thought of  the oat cereals and strawbie jam can be put as ice cream's topping.
