KL's food hunt 12-13。09。14

So the first stop after we arrived KL.
Palsaik Korean BBQ@Soho KL, Solaris Mont Kiara.

I wasn't expected so much on this as I'm not a fan of Korean cuisine.
But well what you can see is they served 8 flavours of porks!
This only appeared in set menu that served for at least 3-4 persons. So do go there with at least 3 friends together.

The only thing that could attracted me for Korean cuisine is their pork bellies.
The staff there will help you in serving of the porks.
It was so yummilicious.
No doubt that's the highlight of the set menu!

The seafood hotpot that comes together.

Went with these two pretty ladies.
Of course the set menu included some side dishes and a full plate of vegetables.
Honestly the portion actually just enough for three persons if you have big appetite do order for more.
What's more after lunch? Desserts!!
We went to search for some coffee shops inside Soho and we decided to stop by Ministry of Coffee.
I would say their coffee size is a bit too large compare to the normal size of what you get from other cafes.
We don't feel comfortable after having too much of caffeine.

We tried chocolate lava cakes and peanut cakes.
Both were just so-so.
We rather disappointed of entering the cafe,
perhaps we should choose Cosans Coffee.
The next day, while waiting the time passed.
Little S insisted to have a visit at TOUS les JOURS, so in return of her for accompanied me for ramen I brought her to TLJ.
People is complimenting of their pastries but well for me cakes are better.
And you can get better breakfast set from other shop.
I went there twice and I actually don't feel their pastries so appealing but I would say different people has different taste bud.

Chocolate Ganache Mousse Cake.
Is this alluring enough to make you drool?!
Its so sinful, every bites melted with rich chocolate.
You would either love it or hate it for its richness.
Nice chandeliers with bricks wall.
We were sitting on upstairs waiting for the night to come.
I could just sit there whole day by watching people comes in and goes out.
Nights!
Have another great day ahead.

Langkawi 03 - 05。06。14_02

What do you eat in Langkawi?
Seafood, seafood, alcohol, alcohol, chocolate, chocolate!!!!!

Basically we Malaysians when travelling in local, the food cuisine is always same.
Since Langkawi is famous for seafood, then we went for it.
But beware, the food could be overrated with over priced.
We went to search for dinner in Kuah Town after visited Eagle Square.

Glad that we found this restaurant.
Not a fancy restaurant look kinda shabby,
but the food is good and the price is reasonable compare to other famous restaurants.
We ordered 5 dishes in total (4 seafood and 1 vegetable).
If I am not mistaken, the total amount was not more than RM100.

Buy alcohols in Langkawi!!
Is way cheaper in the island, cheapest place to get alcohols in Malaysia I guess.
What a waste that I'm allergy to alcohol, sigh!!!
You can see a lot of duty free shops in the island,
I went both Haji Ismail Group and Teoh Soon Huat for chocolates.
I personally think TSH is better, the arrangement of chocolates is more systematic and the environment is cleaner.
And they have more choices on alcohol filled chocolates.

Road trip 15 - 16。10。13_03

Pulau Ketam. Crab island?
If only I can see thousands of baby crabs crawling around......
hmm... probably is too scary...

Is a floating village, you can see everyone so good in cycling.
People go there by boat for seafood hunting.
A few groceries stores and temples around.

Droools!!

You know what... clouds!
Formation of clouds are just so hilarious!

Road trip 15 - 16。10。13_02

With the countless light bulbs guess you know where is this place.
I-city @ Shah Alam.

I know the picture is darn so blur.
But I like it, so who cares!

Silly S with me.
xoxo
We grow up together from little kids till now,
even we were not studied in the same class,
not entering the same university,
distance never faded our friendship.
She probably is the one who well know me the most.
If I can only choose between a boyfriend and a girlfriend, I will choose her.
No, I'm not a lesbian.
Just sometimes I take friendship more serious.

And here some photos in Trick Art Museum.

Helloo man! Trying to escape uh?

And so this is one of the background in the House of Horror's site wall.
Superb disappointed with it.
At first I walked in, there is this good zombie talked to us and he even told us there will be nine more zombies on the way and accompanied us a small distance.
Idk he is actually trying to scare us or just I thought the other way round that he is trying to comfort us.
Um... sometimes my thought is different...
Then, the whole journey ended up we not scared by any zombies but we hatred those visitors.
Those assholesss!! Why don't you guys just apply a job position in the house?!
And do we know you? Do you have manners?
Taking picture of others w/o permission and made fun of it are so rude! dafuq.

The next morning, we went searching for "bah kuh teh". ( Must-eat-food in Klang )
One of the famous shop in Klang -
奇香肉骨茶
Restaurant Kee Heong
No 7A, Jalan Kawasari Off,
Taman Eng Ann,
41050 Klang.
Tel: 012-3243838

L: Dried bah kuh teh
R: Fast selling big bone.
Have been hearing good reviews for those.
But I opted for heavier herb's taste for the soup and less salty for the dried base's.
Well, everyone has different taste bud.

Makan trip still haven't end.
Stay tuned for the next stop.
And I can't control myself, just promised for another trip. shit brick.
My money.... Oouchhh!!

Road trip 15 - 16。10。13_01

What to do when you have short holidays?
Road trip la!

Sometimes I feel like I don't work so hard, but I play too hard and spend too much... somehow unbalancing.... Now, I'm trying so hard to resist the travel offers.

So, this was the first stop.
The Bear Paw shop.
Went too early and ended up loitering around to waste time.

Chinese burger with the signature bear paw print on the bun .
The bun tasted like mantou ( Chinese steamed bun ).
Customers can customized your own bear paw bun with
                      (a) bun type : milk, brown sugar and whole wheat
                      (b) patty type : chicken, spicy chicken, fish and double ham
                      (c) 6 types of sauces

Dairy products are my all times favourite
so I chose milk bun with fish as patty and thousand island sauce.
I think this is the one I like most among the four burgers.
Overall, they just tasted so-so only.

Consequences of not doing "homework" before we went the place.
We actually headed to Mission Q: Escape Room @ Subang SS15 after that and we realized there is a branch just at the same row and yet the one we went is HQ. wtf.

Start from 24 October, there will be a Halloween bear paw seasonal flavour!

Next, Mission-Q which brings you 5 unique adventurous escape rooms with differences themes and difficulty levels.
Each room needed 4-6 players and there is one room for 2 players, each game is given one hour to play.
No prize will be given to the fastest group because they afraid the same group might comes for second attempt and choose back the same theme to play.
If you can break the record, they will stick your group photo an the "Hall of Fame" board. So that at least people knows your group was good in the game.
However, they will change the setting every 6 weeks if I'm not mistaken.

As beginners , we chose the easiest one called "Prison Break".

No physical strength needed, just good IQ will do to help you
identifying clues, solving riddles and collecting items.
We were closed in the room and tried to escape the room from the other door.
You can actually only press the bell once for asking help to solve one puzzle.
Apparently, we failed much until the staff volunteered to help us a few times to find the passwords to unlock the doors and
extended our gaming times for half and hours more.
Definitely, feeling so ashamed for our result.
The only way to console ourselves is at least S and me each solved one riddle.

For this theme, I would definitely salute the champion group which manage to escape the room within 17mins. Their IQ must be superb high!
Anyway, great game to be challenge and The Guru you really got us mad!!

And surprisingly, I met one of my secondary classmate and he reckoned me!
The world is just so small......
Some luck is going on again I guess!
I am wondering that there are long lost friends like primary/ secondary school mates contacted me for oversea trip?!

Droolsss

Holla, it seems like happy moments don't stay long.

Wokay I shall wake up from my dream and back to the reality......
Just came back from a luxury trip.
I'm so much missing the bed, the sun, the beach and the ATV!!!

Stayed two night at KL before heading to Sepang Golden Palm Tree resort.
I can't believed I didn't buy any clothes in KL not even one piece!
I don't like shopping anymore at least for now......
I guess I prefer to spend for travelling and food, too!!
This is gonna be a food post.

I didn't put much expectation for this charcoal bun
because I tried before nothing special.
That's a beef burger ( beautiful mess ), kind of too thick with too much ingredients inside  ( beef, mushroom, egg, vege and a piece of crispy thing i don't know what's that) and
seriously is hard for my small mouth to bite the bun with the fillings.
And I expected to have more cheese sauce inside.

The Red Beanbag in Publika is a place that I strongly recommended!
All sets are served with porched egg!
1. cooked salmon with potato rosti
2. bacon mushroom with whole grain bread
3. raw salmon come with two differences toppings
( one is spinach and another one is mushroom)
4. Flat white. And I always like coffee art!

People who knows me will probably know I craved for ramen for almost a month.
I have been finding ramen with not just miso soup.
So, this time my craving fixed in Ippudo!
Darn so happy!
Is a little pricey with the small portion but definitely worth a try.

Self picked topping pizza!
(smoked salmon, mussel and mushroom)
The most worthy paying food in the GPTR.

Just simply took a picture of this something like apple pie.

Can I have Ramen again.

Bye Awe-JuL

Holla peeps.

July going to end in few more hours.
What?! Time flies time flies!!!
Here comes another month, August.
Wheee...... means another holiday coming soon.
I'm so looking forward to Mr.August feels like some great things going to happen soon.

Random post.
I made a so called homemade cake!

So, I turned these to......

to these......

Topping with cocoa powder and nestum.
Don't look down at the cocoa powder.
It played magic role!

Then, ta daa....!!

So, if you want to make a cake but you just too lazy or
don't even know how to bake a nice one like me.
Basically, this cake can definitely tricked others!
All ready made ingredients so ya just mix and match with your creative idea.

Road trip

There was this impromptu decision we have made to have a road trip on one of those Sunday.
T suddenly text me and asked me to go KL. I said yes!

My main purposed to went there is actually for orbing ball's ride at Titiwangsa Lake!
Games that I have wanted to try ever since the first introduced in Gemas.
Well, we went on the wrong day disappointed when we were told that they've moved the balls to the Jom Heboh Carnival.

Anyway, we tried pastries at Levain.
I heard lots of good reviews for this place.

That morning was crowded because of the problem of computer system.
So, those staffs counted the prices using calculators/ handwriting and have to jot down every pieces they sold out on the papers
I think was a chaos for them.
So, darn long queue.

Green tea mousse.
Looks nice but I can't get rid of its strong matcha taste.
I even felt liked I'm eating mercury though I don't know how's mercury taste like.

Apparently all food looks too good to be eaten.
Hmmph.... drooling now!

After breakfast, we headed to Royal Selangor pewter factory.
I never thought pewter is such expensive until I saw the prices.
I always thought those pewter products in my house are simply for decoration and they grow dust......

Such elegant yet creepy wine glasses.

Now I feel wanted to learn playing chess.
But I only want to play with this awesome set!
So, whoever got this. You're my friend!! Hahaha...

Then, we moved to this part.
Products coated with gold.
Not for sale peacock, they looked much more shiny in real life!

So, they have this special order, too.

I will follow you~~~

Then, of course shopping spree for girls.
I remember the first thing I bought was toothpaste!
Toothpaste?! LOL.

I guess you know where is this place!

So, the day ended with these mouth-watering dishes.
Ah, drooling now!!
